Starting at Meadowbrook State Parkway, exit at M8-West (Sunrise Highway, NY27) - make a left on South Ocean Avenue (between South Bergen Place and Guy Lombardo Avenue). Pass Atlantic Avenue (8 blocks south of Sunrise Hwy). Continue 3 more blocks to the south of John Randall Park. Make a left onto Front Street. Go one block, make a right onto Woodcleft Avenue. Look for parking lot on the right. The band plays near there on Woodcleft Avenue.

Freeport High School

 

 


Meadowbrook Parkway southbound to Exit M8-west (Sunrise Highway West, also known as State Route 27). Proceed about 1.5 miles to Brookside Avenue. The school is on the southwest corner of Sunrise Highway and Brookside Avenue. There is a traffic light on the corner. Use Google Maps to plan your trip.


 

Freeport United Methodist Church

The church is located one block south of Sunrise Highway between Guy Lombardo Avenue on the west and Church Street on the East.  

Pine Street begins near the front of the High School. Heading east from there, you will pass South Bayview Avenue and Long Beach Avenue, which are major roads. The next major road is Guy Lombardo Avenue.

As you cross Guy Lombardo Avenue heading east, there is a Middle School on the right side of Pine Street.  The Church is across from the school on the north side of the street.   

In the middle of the block on the east side of the church is the entrance to the parking lot. Park and enter at the stairs going down at the back of the church. Look for signs.

From the west:
Long Island Expressway, (Route 495), to exit 36; go north on Searington Road, which changes its name to Port Washington Blvd. Continue north to Main Street (Mobil gas station on left, Post Office on right). Turn left onto Main Street; continue about one mile down to Boat Harbor. Band shell is on the right. Park on the Public Town Dock, just beyond the BandShell.

From the east:
Long Island Expressway, (Route 495), to exit 36 north. Follow directions above.
