Elmont Memorial Library

700 Hempstead Tpke., Elmont, NY

From Northern State Parkway or Long Island Expressway. — Take the Cross Island Parkway South. Proceed to Exit 26B North (Hempstead Ave./Belmont Park Racetrack). Travel east on Hempstead Turnpike to the address.

From Southern State Parkway West. — Take Exit 13 Central Ave. At the end of the ramp, go straight onto Linden Blvd. At the second traffic light turn right onto Elmont Road. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles to the fork in the road. Bear right onto School Road. Continue straight to Hempstead Turnpike. Turn right and continue east to the address.

Freeport Esplanade (AKA "The Nautical Mile")

Woodcleft Ave, Freeport, NY

Starting at Meadowbrook State Parkway, exit at M8-West (Sunrise Highway, NY27) - make a left on South Ocean Avenue (between South Bergen Place and Guy Lombardo Avenue). Pass Atlantic Avenue (8 blocks south of Sunrise Hwy). Continue 3 more blocks to the south of John Randall Park. Make a left onto Front Street. Go one block, make a right onto Woodcleft Avenue. Look for parking lot on the right. The band plays near there on Woodcleft Avenue.

Freeport High School

50 Brookside Avenue, Freeport, New York

Meadowbrook Parkway southbound to Exit M8-west (Sunrise Highway West, also known as State Route 27). Proceed about 1.5 miles to Brookside Avenue. The school is on the southwest corner of Sunrise Highway and Brookside Avenue. There is a traffic light on the corner.

Freeport Recreation Center

130 East Merrick Road, Freeport, NY.

From West. — Take Sunrise Hwy and pass most of Freeport. After Home Depot make the first right onto Liberty Ave. Liberty Ave leads directly into the Recreation Center after crossing Merrick Road.

From East. — Take Sunrise Highway and turn left just before Home Depot onto Liberty Ave. Liberty Ave leads directly into the Recreation Center after crossing Merrick Road.

From the Esplanade: — Drive North on Guy Lombardo Avenue to Merrick Road. Make right on Merrick Road (going East) for 4-5 blocks. Recreation Center is on right.

Freeport United Methodist Church

46 Pine Street, Freeport, NY

The church is located one block south of Sunrise Highway between Guy Lombardo Avenue on the west and Church Street on the East.  

Pine Street begins near the front of the High School. Heading east from there, you will pass South Bayview Avenue and Long Beach Avenue, which are major roads. The next major road is Guy Lombardo Avenue.

As you cross Guy Lombardo Avenue heading east, there is a Middle School on the right side of Pine Street.  The Church is across from the school on the north side of the street.   

In the middle of the block on the east side of the church is the entrance to the parking lot. Park and enter at the stairs going down at the back of the church. Look for signs.

Bring a music stand.

Our Lady of Consolation

111 Beach Drive, West Islip, NY

Take Southern State Parkway to Exit 40 (Ocean Beaches). Merge onto Robert Moses Causeway. Take Robert Moses Causeway to Exit RM2W (NY 27A, also called Montauk Highway). At the light, turn right into Montauk Highway. Take second left (there is a traffic light) onto Beach Drive (Between St. John the Baptist HS and Good Sam Hospital. Go past the Emergency Building for the hospital. Our Lady of Consulation is on the right.

Port Washington Public Library

1 Library Drive, Port Washington, NY

From the South Shore. — Take the Meadowbrook Parkway northbound. When the Meadowbrook splits, stay left and go toward New York. After the long curve, stay right and exit at Long Island Expressway westbound. Take Long Island Expressway westbound to Exit 36 (Searingtown Road-Port Washington). Turn right onto Searingtown Road and continue north. (Searingtown Road will eventually become Port Washington Boulevard). Continue north until you reach the Port Washington Post Office on your right and turn left onto Main Street. Continue along Main Street. Make a right into the library's parking lot.

From the west. — Long Island Expressway, (Route 495), to exit 36; go north on Searington Road, which changes its name to Port Washington Blvd. Continue north to Main Street (Mobil gas station on left, Post Office on right). Turn left onto Main Street; continue about one mile down to Boat Harbor. Band shell is on the right. Park on the Public Town Dock, just beyond the BandShell.

From the east. — Long Island Expressway, (Route 495), to exit 36 north. Follow directions above.
