90th Anniversary Citations

The Freeport Concert Band traces its roots back to 1921 when Bill Dayton organized a band in Freeport, Long Island, New York. (read Our History page). Bill Dayton led the band for 50 years, from 1921 to 1971. The year 2011 marked our 90th year of community involvement.

Conductor Sandra Viglotti received a Citation for the band from David W. Denenberg, Nassau County Legislator for the 19th Legislative District.
